It was a hot day, but the Edgecombe GOP filled our office to capacity as we heard from several candidate and party officials. We heard from Laurie Buckhout, running for the first congressional district as well as Jason Simmons, NCGOP Party Chairman, Alexander Paschell, candidate for NC Senate 5, and Jennifer Bennington, running for District Court Judge.
